Stephen A. Smith

has skirted the topic, but on his most recent episode of “The Stephen A. Smith Show” podcast, he finally opened up about his feud with fellow sports personality Jason Whitlock.

It got to the point where Smith phoned Whitlock, referring to the latter as the “worst human being any of you will ever meet,” and claiming the former wrote lies in his memoir, “Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes.”

“Jason Whitlock, I mentioned that name,” Smith said before going on his tirade. “I haven’t said that name. Although I don’t usually do that, I must right now. That fat bastard, that piece of s—, has got to go. And before I go for my break, I want to make sure that anyone who knows me or who watches me is out there. Whatever you may think of me, everyone out there, please keep in mind that I never talk about him. I never discuss my coworkers with anyone. That’s not what I do. It’s the first time ever. However, it’s essential.”

Smith continued, saying he called a number of people to let them know what he was going to say, including his family, his pastor, and higher-ups at ESPN.

Then he attacked Whitlock, bringing up a Dead spin article that resulted in an apology.

OUTKICK: IT SEEMS THAT STEPHEN A. SMITH CALLED JASON WHITLOCK A “DEVIL” AND A “FAT B******.”

Smith went on to remark that Whitlock was worse than an advocate of white supremacy. He added that he will not collaborate with Whitlock as per the terms of his contract.

To provide context, Whitlock has frequently criticized Smith, including once during an episode of his own podcast, “Fearless with Jason Whitlock,” which airs on the Blaze Podcast Network.

In addition, he says Smith was “installed” as a prominent sports figure.

“It’s comical how little he actually knows about sports, but someone installed him as the No. 1 voice of sports,” Whitlock stated on the radio. That is the subject Katt Williams is addressing. Comedian Kevin Hart is passable. Someone made him the face of humor, made a deal with him, and set up everything so that he would succeed because they could manage Kevin Hart. Stephen A. Smith experienced that. Straight Shooter is widely available for reading.”

“If you go read his memoir and listen to the stories, he talks about getting a “basketball” scholarship to Winston-Salem State, it’s so mind-blowingly preposterous, and stupid, and fabricated.”

According to Smith’s statement, it seems to be.

“Don’t ever call me about him again,” he replied. I’m a really understanding person, but not with him. ..This bastard is someone I detest greatly more than I do. He is the worst person you will ever come into contact with. When you’re within a mile of him, put your arms around yourself to keep your soul safe. It’s him, Cain. He is the devil. The worst possible. All I can say is that.”

Whitlock responded to Smith on social media after he made this public.

“I was aware of Stephen A’s limitations. I had no idea he was so restricted. I am beginning to have sympathy for him. I thrashed a young seal.

He also tweeted, “SAS just made a fool of himself,” to writer Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. “It’s the most unprofessional thing we’ve ever seen someone at a major media company do, either in response to a review of their work or just acting in public. And this is the lesson you learned? This is the conclusion you draw from SAS because your expectations are so low. For your ESPN sources, get off your knees.
